Frequently Asked Questions
How does the image limit work?
Your image allowance scales with your displays. You get a base amount plus bonus images for each display. For example, HOME gives you 600 base + 300 per display. With 3 displays, that’s 1,500 images. Add a 4th display and you get 1,800 images.
What counts against my image limit?
Your uploads, Flickr photos (photostream, albums, favorites, following), and Flickr Explore all count toward your limit. CURA Gallery does not count – it’s our gift to you at every tier.
Can I use CURA on any TV?
Yes! CURA works on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, Samsung Smart TVs, and tablets. Use your phone to manage everything — phones don’t count as displays. One subscription covers all your devices.
What happens when my trial ends?
After 30 days, you can subscribe to HOME ($5.99/mo) or continue free. FREE gives you 1 display and 200 images – plus Flickr Explore and CURA Gallery stay free forever.
Do I need a Flickr account?
A free Flickr account is needed for Flickr features. Once connected, you get Flickr Explore (curated photography updated daily) plus your own photos, favorites, and following feed.
I have a Nixplay frame / Roku Backdrops / Nest Hub – does CURA work with those?
Yes! CURA can push content to a Google Photos album, and those devices can display from that album. This means CURA can manage content on devices that aren’t even running CURA – one app to control all your displays.
Does CURA support video?
Yes! Video playback works on all native CURA apps (Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, tablets). Note: Video is not supported when using Google Photos publishing to Chromecast screensavers or similar devices.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, cancel anytime. No contracts, no cancellation fees.
